Default Pipes glowing cherry red???

I started my bike today and let it warm a bit before i went for a short ride. Before i left, i noticed that my pipe in front head was cherry red. What and why did it happen or what caused it to happen, now its got me wondering if there is a problem...Thanks for the help....

Sounds bad, have you changed pipes or AC? or modified anything else?sounds like it's running lean on the front jug, possibly an intake manifold leak? try spraying WD40 around the intake while it's running at idleand see if that causes it to stumble or rev up, that would indicate an intake leak. Must still be under warranty, might be time to visit the stealer.

It's just running lean. That happens from using that download bandage instead of a SERT orsome other fuel management system.

Check for leaks: intake/exhaust.

I don't understand starting a bike and letting it warm up. I let my bike "warm up" as long as I let my car warm up. I start it and drive away.
