A late ignition timing causes the mixture to still be burning when the exhaust valve opens, heats the pipe red hot. A fuel mixture too rich can cause heating also, but usually fuel foul plug first. A burned exhaust valve can also cause heating

Either way I'd take it in to get checked out

It's just running lean. That happens from using that download bandage instead of a SERT orsome other fuel management system.
Fuel infection just trying to trick the engine into blowing happy EPA numbers not caring that it's hurting the engine.

It could be ignition timing issue imo.

i found out, from local mechanic that it is normal for pipes to get like that esp. at the head, now if it was further down pipe then i would have a problem, but he told me not to worry

They should sell HD smokes now that you have pipes to light them with.

I have heard that, but I have never seen it happen. I would still look for problems.

If your pipes are turning red, you have a problem

Sitting still with no air flow..........This is normal at the head..........There is no problem..........My evo has done it since 84.......it can't be seen in bright light, but running while parked at night or in a shaded garage they will be red. Once you start moving, they cool down (air cooled engine)
