Default thoughts on nightster?

Well here goes,
Just recently sat on a new nightster with some extras. Fit perfect with foreward controls
I have missed my sporty since I traded it in 05 for my DynaLowrider
my sporty was an 02 883 rigid mount. I am curious on the thoughts of the rubbermounted
and fuel injected sportster. (1200cc Nightster!!)

Thanks
Carl

I think the Nightster is great. For me though, I am a bagger kind of a guy with a Sportster. I need bags and a windshield. As such, I have a 1200 C which I love. My set up just wouldn't look right on a Nightster. However I think it is one neat bare bones bike.

The rubber mount is great!!

whaap
Thanks for the info,
the real issue is I may have to sell or trade my dyna-? to get a nightster
what made me trade the sporty was the smooth ride of the dyna it was night and day. But with the dyna
I cannot reach forward controls and mids seem to cramp my right knee real bad for any rides of around
100 miles plus
my sporty was a 2002 883
I really miss my sportster and a detachable rack and solo bag would handle what I need to carry on the
nightster. also I have a wind vest for extended rides

what kind of highway pegs are those on your bike and were do they mount?
(I currently have a small investment in pegs and such for the dyna to try and resolve my
Knee problems
Thanks

carl, i made some neat highway pegs for my mim's street bob. they mount to the frame where the forwards would go. i'll try and get some pics to give you an i idea. if you have the means they are super easy to make and you can position then any way you like. i imagine i'll be by here house sometime and snap some pics.
