Glad you came out unscathed.

Don't beat yourself up when you replay it. It sounds like you were aware of the sun behind youand were somewhat suspecting her to pull out - that probably saved your bacon. Just think what would have happened if you would have had your head in the clouds, oblivious to your surroundings (like I always rode when I was younger). One-half second later on the brakes would have been bad news. So I say: Good Job! Now you can just take that success story and decide if you can improve on it in possible future situations.

Each time something like that happens and it doesn't ring your bell, you are a better rider for it. I'm sure you'll have an even sharper eye out tomorrow and will be eyeing excape routes more often nowbecause of it.

Try not to beat yourself up. Hindsight is always 20/20. You may not have made the best choice in your opinion but you and the scoot survived and thats all that counts in the end.
