It depends on the roads you travel and your riding style. I get about 12K on the rear. With a 21" front tire I got about 6-7K miles. I just switched to a 19" front which carries a wider tire than the 21" and I expect to get about 15K based on the experience of others I ride with.

around 10K for me. Although I'm a believer in proactive replacement when it comes to motorcycle tires. I'm running Michelin Commanders now - we'll see how long they go.

i think a much EASIER question is:

"How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie-Pop?" So many variables... might as well just say "Let's find out...." 1.......2........ thu-ree....... <crunch>.

Thu-ree.

i dont know yet. I got my bike used. 1988 sporty, barely 9,500 miles since it was new. probably the same set of tires for the last 20 years. they were cracked and falling apart. they still had a few hundred miles on them. I have fresh ones on and well see how long they last.

Between 5k and 15k.....As stated previously, there are to many variables! It all depends on riding style, tire compound, tread design, road surfaces, etc, & etc.
