New sportie - Helmet lock and centerstand?

RE: New sportie - Helmet lock and centerstand?
The Harley security doesn't work in San Francisco.
I came into the office from lunch the other day. Noticed one of the guys I work with left his new helmet and gloves on his seat. He's a bit forgetful. Last helmet was stolen in Dec. At $300+ for the helmet and another $100+ for gloves, hes got to remember.
Anyhow, I picked it up and went inside with it. This was in downtown SF and lots of people around. Not one person said anything. Even those that know him and don't know me.
People just don't want to get involved with anything. Its easier to turn a blind eye I guess.
I always carry my stuff. I dont want to come back to just a d-ring on a lock.

No helmet lock and no center stand. And I might as well tell you before you find out the hard way no freaking tool-kit either.
You're going to have a time learning the weird turn signals too. They're right where the horn and starter button should be. There's just some things Harley seems to want to do different for the sake of being different. Calling a kick-stand a Jiffy-stand for example.

Exactly, helmet lock and time to install it are cheaper/more productive than bail or jail time!

Actually I take that back.
If it was someone stealing because they were deperate, I might let them off with bein mad.
If it was a punk kid just for the hell of it, or someone supporting a habit... thats another story.
I guess I'm a softy at heart.
