Default Sundowner Seat

I just got and installed the Sundowner bucket seat on my 883C.

Is it just me, or does that seat actually make you sit up higher than the stock seat? Is this going to cause any problems like changing the center of gravity or anything?

I have one on mine, and it moves you a little closer to the tank, I don't think it moves you up any!

Sure, the extra padding raises you up a bit. Assuming you can still flat foot it,there won't be any affect the handleing, just your comfort.

Had Sundowner seat on my Sportster when I bought it.....replaced with pillow seat. The Sundowner seat seemed too high for me (5'6") and I couldn't sit flat-footed.

I echo les63. Comfortable all the way around, too. My girls don't complain about "butt-cramps" anymore, either.

I put a Sundowner on just before Christmas. I also noticed that I sit slightly higher with it. Felt a little different at first but I got used to it.

Identical to SHOAT. I do believe that the longer you ride with it, the more you will get adjusted to it.

Can't remember anything different when I put my sundowner on. If there was, I adapted so fast that it was a non-issue.

I put a sundowner on a little over a year ago. It moved me forward just a touch but not higher. It took a couple of rides to get used to and I'll never go back to the stock seat now. The sundowner gives me more support than the stock did. The passenger will definately sit higher on it - that could be a good thing if they're short like my OL (4'10").

I feel mine lifts me up and forward as well.
Can still flat foot it ok but it does take a bit of getting used to.
The wife is happy so I suppose thats all that matters

I am thinking of getting another one as below, seesm to be low for the rider and padded for the pass.
