Sundowner seat works really well, very comfortable. Have had one on for 3 years. Took it off the other day as I am trading the bike for a Softail and needed to get the bike valued (was going to sell the sundowner on e-bay). Only problem was I did less than5 miles before my A*** hurt like hell - then I remembered why I'd changed it. Cannot possibly afflict that stock seat on the next owner so I turned round and the Sundowner went back on.

The sundowner needs about a 300 mile break in period. It felt weird at first but now I can ride 500 miles without a break.
I doubt I will ever put my stock piece of lumber back on.

One of my co-workershas a Sundowneron his2007 883L. I checked his outwhen thinking about buying one for my 1200C.I was a little apprehensive about getting the Sundowner because the Sundowner on his 883Lseems to to sit lower at the front of the seat than at the back causing you toslide forward on the seat. I was very relieved that the one for my bike does not sit like this. I told him to check the p/n to see if the Stealership had given him a seat for a 883C instead of a 883L.

Any "L" or "XL" ownersexperienced the same thing?
