Wife hated the Sundowner on her 07 1200L, she tried on several rides. We actually tried twowe thought maybe something wrong with the first one. It sit her up way too high and too forward. For now we have the reach solo with the passenger pallion. Not that she will be riding with a passenger, wanted the looks. She is happy with it, has put several 300 mile days in. Now what you might consider too is if it's just the height that bothers you, try puting some risers on the bars. That might be all you would need to get a more relaxed fit. We did not have risers on the wifes when we tried the Sundowner, so it is just something she wanted to try after riding in the solo reach seat. She likes it all now. Actually the risers have been the best mod we have done on her bike for her.

Thanks all. I can still flat foot it, so it might just be that the padding puts me up high enough to notice it a bit. I'm sure I'll get used to it, if not, I'll sell it and buy something else.

Thanks Again.

I put a Sundowner on my bike a few weeks ago. Only got to ride a couple of times before the weather turned to crap, but it was a hell of alot more comfortable than the stock seat. I felt that it raised me up a bit over the stock seat, but also feel more balanced on the bike. Maybe it's the difference between forward pegs and mid-pegs? I think in the long run (or ride) your tarsh will be much happier!

Sundowner on my Nightster kept me up with three road kings for 4 eight hour days on the road! It did raise me up quite a bit from the stock Nightster seat but still very comfy.

The seat is great on long rides. I love the seat! In town riding, I use the stock seat. It just feels better on short rides.

Sundowner works for us on long and short rides. At first I wasn't sure I was going to like it, but after riding a bit the seat has been good.

Update! Got to ride a bit today, and the seat is GREAT. Got used to it really quicky. Did have to move the windshield up a bit, but now everything is perfect.

Thanks for the input all.

I don't feel it moved me forward,I may sit a little higher but that would move me farther away from the pegs correct?Damn I'm going to have to put my buds stocker on and ride it around, haven't been on a stocker in almost a year[&:]I bet it will feel weird as hell[8D]I do want to go back to solo but Dawn is afraid to turn the throttle on hers
