Hope I didn't come off testy, just interested in the "werd", thought it kind of "weird".
Actually this thread was of interest cause I spent 10 yrs on a RD400 Cafe' bike, not hot by todays standards but could outrun anything on the road 0-100. Hell of a lot of fun. Found clipons quite comfortable at speed, but putting around town could get old.
If you are just kidding around, use a smiley face. You're not face to face here and the smiley is used to give people an idea what you are feeling.

I always thought so too!
I'm not home so can't dig through and find pics. It was a '77, blue, Jemco pipes, bikini fairing, rear sets and clipons, I made a fiberglass seat/fender for it. The 77 had the hottest porting stock of all RDs. Like I said it was incredible up to 100, top spd was 115 just before a piston would melt.
You guys have got me excited here, have to watch my heart!
