I've seen a couple of the "C" models in person....

Far as I'm concerned they should have kept the Deuce...

I know quite a few that own either a Deuce (if you like chrome)or Standard (if you want less chrome) and they are great bikes....

Oh well... [8D]

I couldn't agree more. The Deuce was a FAR better lookin' ride. I have never liked the look of the "Rockers" in pictures and I stopped by and saw it in person on Saturday. Seeing them close up only confirmed that I don't think Harley did themselves a favor by building it.

I'll admit, seeing it on the website had me thinking it was a really great looking bike. When I saw it this weekend at the dealership in Allen,TX I did'nt even recognize it and had to ask if that's what it was. I do not like it nearly as much in "person" but think it, like all styles, has a place in someones ( not mine ) garage.

i was not impressed and i feel it could use more work
Ya think it might need some more work. I'd say you can take that to the bank. They made a big deal out of announcing them back in July. They're are just now starting to trickle into the dealerships. Even if I liked the styling (which I don't hate, it's just not for me) I wouldn't buy one of those right now for anything. Maybe in 2010, once they get past their obvious manufacturing issues with the bike.

Only Harley could screw up a model release by 5 months and the the dealers gouge the price
