Do you have any pics of this setup?

Good question..anybody know the answer to this?

I squirted WD-40 and used compressed air under the grip to get it off.

I pot the HD bars on my 08 883 and had no problem with the turnsignals hitting the tank. I also used the oem cables. They tried to sell me new cables.

if you cut an inch off each side of the bars, the dimples won't be in the right place and it depends on where the bends are, if the controls will go back on correctly. if the bends won't be in the way, use a dremel to cut out where you need the wires to pass through, thats what i did. mine are about 29 in. with 4 in. straight risers. i have no idea what the pull back on the bars are though. i had to use the risers on mine or the blinkers hit the tank, but with the 32's that i had, i didn't need risers. hope this helps. sorry but i screwed up and didn't see the part about internal wiring when i first read it, i'll pay more attention from now on. sorry.

Poncho, how did you mount your speedo with those risers? In your pics it's blocked by your fork bag.

guys - just a tip. ...

I wanted drag bars for my nightster but couldnt afford them so instead i loosened off the 4 allen bolts on the stock speedo/clamp and lowered the standard bars towards me until they were at drag bar height. I adjusted the throttle and clutch to suit and tightened the clamp back up. The bike looks far meaner with the bars like this and it cost me nothing to do. The bike still has full lock clearance and no wires needed moved. Only downside is my right hand side indicator is kinda loose but thats it.

i think for all the time it took it looks a lot better than stock and also is a better riding position for a tall guy like me with forward controls
