It will hold up fine. Remember, it's FACTORY parts from a bike with a SOLID mounted engine. It would have been subjected to, and would have been isolating MORE vibes than the '04s and up transmit.

As long as all parts are properly installed and torqued to spec, it would be perfectly safe. I've done similar mods to various bikes over the years and it's always worked out fine.

Not any more movement than you would see on a dyna lowrider which is actually the same frontend with the bushings.

PDF opened fine for me. I also notice my right hand going numb at times. This could well be the cure Im loking for. I wonder if it would be possible to include small rubber washers in the mirror mountings and if that would reduce vibration in them.
