Forcewinder's actually comes in black, but mines a Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather. Ive actually been debating weather to powder coat the chrome black or not, may of come to the conclusion to keep it chrome since to contrast the black

On Edit:
Oh, realized you may of meant the air filter itself and I dont thick so. Ive never seen it anyways but the Screaming Eagle Sock is black

Sean:

Nice looking bike, I think the black rain sock really helps the looks of the heavy breather on the Nightster. I'm not sure how tall you are, but the forward controls were the best investment I've made on the bike, I'm 5-10.

Txoval,

Yeah, my dad's got a night train and he has kind of been trying to talk me into forward, but for now I love the mids, i feel I have more control of the bike at lower speeds

Well they took me about 5 minutes to get used to if that helps...they are not as forward on sportsters as the dynas/softtails. I understand your concern though, especially when they cost $300+ depending on what style you get.

Do you not like the rain sock? I leave mine on, I like the looks and it helps keep bugs/crap out of the filter, not to mention water
