Default Help with 1st oil change

Gday, i recently bought my self a new 08 883c and im loving it. im about to clock up 1600km (sorry we dont use miles here in oz) the dealer put harley davidson 360 oil in it im leaning to put mobil 1 in it for its 1st oil change going on what i have read in this forums n other forums. would there be any hassles with using the mobil 1? im all so un ssure of what grade to go with in the mobil 1 do i go the thicker oil or the lighter grade.im still tossing up weather to do the service myself or pay someone to do it. i have mucked around with cars n bikes for a while now n have a far under standing of them. any help would be great

thanks

where are ya based, YF ? I am in Queensland, Thruster on here is from BrisVegas as well. Oi Oi Oi, if you are up this way, drop us a line and we will meet up for a ride.

Go the Mobil I say.

Hey doesn't "in vino veritas" mean "In wine, truth ?"

I know Passion Pop is pretty honest.

You will be fine with the Mobil-1, the 15w-50 (silver top) auto works very well and is about 1/2 the price of the Mobil-1 20w-50 V-Twin oil. For the Primary/Tranny use the Mobil-1 75w-90 Gear Oil.
