Default Cleaning pipes

What do you use to get the pipes clean if something gets on them? Anything that gets on them cooks immediately and it seems impossible to get it off.

I find that letting the pipe cool down and then, using a razor blade, lightly scrapping the surface, works well for me.

Eazy Off oven cleaner. That stuff works better than anything I have ever tried. I'v been useing it for the last 20 years, never hurt my pipes either.Just don't get it where you don't want it.

Do not use that green scrubber on the back of the kitchen sponge. I had some marks from my boot and that stuff will scratch the chrome.

Ditto on the NEVERDULL. I use an old credit card and scrape off the big stuff and then Neverdull. I then finish with Mothers Powerball metal polish. My old bike had a glove vibrate off and land on the hot pipe and quickly melted the nylon mesh fast to the chrome. It took a few minutes but with a little patience it was like new in about an hour.

I use simple green and 0000 guage steel wool, the razor blade trick you better be careful with....
0000SW wont scratch chrome.

I use lacquer thinner on the pipes to get marks off from my boots. Then I had my boots re soled and the new soles don't leave a mark as bad as before.
