Default Clutch Cable Routing

I had my 5000 mile service done about a month ago at the local dealer and was riding today and noticed my clutch cable looks like it is not routed correctly. Can someone look at their's and see if the cable goes inside the fork or stays on the outside? Mine is outside the forks.
Thanks, Randy

mine exits the lever and goes right (right as when your sitting on the bike) and goes AROUND the headlight and under it inside the forks and then runs along the frame to the engine case.

i dont think this is stock, but its still got alot of slack, must be an oversized cable.

'05 1200C - outside as well
It seems it may be better to run it inside the forks with the windscreen?

Mine is on the outside. I'm wondering if the clip that holds the cable to the frame has come off?
