WhatDEREK71 said, but I'm interested in putting one on my 1200 C. I would like to see a few pix of any sporty with the rack over the back fender. I never ride 2 up & I think the rack would cool on a Nightster or Custom.

Bought mine from Zannotti's. $167.45 total including shipping, about $36 less than purchasing at local dealer with sales tax.

Here's what I got:

53512-07: Black Solo Detachable Rack
53529-14: Docking Hardware Kit

This docking kit is what you need if you don't intend to use saddlebags. Installation involves removing the four fender bolts, one side at a time, and installing the docking hardware with the new bolts provided. It's an easy install, relatively speaking, however the brake/indicator lamps may get in the way when working with the rear bolts unless you have the right tools.

I don't have any pics, but here isone from the HD website. I use mine with the Kuryakyn Mini Grantour bag, and attach it with 6 inch bungees with the plastic *****.

Barely,
Thanks for the pix. Looks great on the Nightster. Not sure how it would look on a Custom. I'd go with chrome vs. black due to the Custom being blinged out somewhat from the factory, plus small amount I've added. I'd post pix, but don't know how at this point.

I have the detachable solo tour pack rack on a 2005 custom. I haven't gotten a tour pack yet so I just have an old suitcase. I also have the detachable two up back rest which a rack could be attached to. See pics
