ORIGINAL: Biker Trash

Maybe mate two pieces together... on top of each other sothe layer closest to the driver issolid yet the outside layer is cut out for the design...

Just my 2 cents.
Yea I even though of that myself and the only solution I could see is to cut a clear one to the outline shape of the designer one but you must have a small area between them to allow for the area between them to breathe or they will trap moisture and stain them both.
Sounds like I might even try that to gain back the function of the windshield. Believe it or not I have thought many of these things thru already. Eventhought of a yellow(cause my bike is yeller) or even a red translucent piece of acrylic for the back piece.
Work still ongoing and in process
Thanks
Jim

Just tested at 70 mph with 10-15 mph winds here today and no flopping, bending or bowing. However for some reason wind seems to be coming thru them large holes LOL imagine that!
Jim
That sounds like it at least helps.

Lets face it, it is ment more for looks than function, so even 50% wind reduction is a HUGE bonus.

Still, it is the coolest self made item I have ever seen on this forum and you SERIOUSLY need to explore this business opurtunity!

maybe if you used different color window tint. just cut the plastic to the skull shape and used the window tint to do the internal skull tinting. Just another idea.

Just had me a brainstorm LOL!!! interchangeable shields for me. Had an insipration for a skull peeking thru his hands as my Sporty tears down the road. I don't go back to work till wed. so can not get another piece of lexan till then.
I will have him ready by the end of the weekend. Less of the large cutouts so maybe a little better windscreen too. He will be just the thing cause he is gonna be scared to ride with me LOL!!!!

I have gone nuts but when inspiration hits ya just gotta go with the flow
Freak on the move LOL!!!

Jim
Stay tuned

I'd say its pretty freakin awesome...

The idea someone made about the tint is a pretty good one.... still have the full function of the windshield and that badass design...

Maybe keep the oustide sculpture...

At any rate... very cool....

I would think to have it etched would make it both functional/cool-looking. I do think it is just wicked, though!!!!
