We can not open that damn thing to change headlamp bulb. We remove the screw on the bottom, we can turn it a little, but can not take it off within reasonable force. Please help - how to open headlight?

ONE.Remove the screw.Lift the ring up (from the bottom)and forward.It will be tight.An exelent replacement is the Silver Star or the PIAA extreem white.

 

It only takes one.....The canuk holds the bulb and let's the world revolve around him till it pops out.

Seriously.........Like the guy said, just remove the screw and then pull forward on the bottom screw tang real hard and the ring will pop off.

Getting it back on is easier if you notice the notch cut near the top of the ring.....Place the ring on the headlight where the notch is over the raised lip on the headlight housing and then force the bottom in place....then rotate ring to where screw hole lines up.......The raised lip on the headlight housing is about 1-2 o'clock.

I did, actually I put those and this "Auxiliary Running Light / Brake Light / Turn Signal Conversion Kit".

The reason to change the bulb was that I want more light in front, but I can not put those because of my windshiels, and I can not install those because my engine guard is rounded. So dealership sold me $60 piaa lamp and told me it is brighter than stock. In fact it is a little brighter in the garage, but not by $60 So will have to find a way to add more headlight.
