Harley Tank Emblems OEM and Others
I have been searching the net high and low looking for the right tank emblem for my Sportster.. Don't really want a decal but ones that stick on with the 3-M tape.
Does anyone have any idea where I can find something like a Lazer cut metal or plastic tank emblem about 4 or 5 inches long... Colored, chrome etc.
I have seen the ones on ebay and some come close to my needs but want something unique! I know there must be some manufacture out there that does lazer cut type work and has some script samples... I just can't seem to find any.. So if some of you bike builders can lead me in the right directions... I sure would appreciate it..
I've got a new orange glo flamed paint set and just want a tank logo that won't overwhelm the paint and flame effects but yet puts a nice finishing touch to the tank with a signature..
Thanks for any suggestions..

RE: Harley Tank Emblems OEM and Others
im repainting my bike and am looking for one too, search OEM catalogs for older bikes and look at the tank section
bikebandit.com has alot of stuff, you put in the year of the bike and the model and it gives you catalogs of every OEM part for that bike, you can just use it to look for the tank emblems of the sportsters of yesteryear
doesnt have everything available, but its a start.
if you want a custom one, just make sure it has a flat back and stick it with heavy duty double sided tape.
