new rider may need engine guard

RE: new rider may need engine guard
Y'all got me thinkin' now. I would imagine putting on an engine guard would be fairly straightforward. Is it? Or is there something in the way I may have to remove that I'd rather not (not being a good wrench and all, oh, I can take stuff apart alright, it's the getting it back together that sometimes throws me).

RE: new rider may need engine guard
I zoned out last year and dropped mine----when it was running----and it fell right on the engine guard, but still put a gouge on the underside of the pipe. War wound still exists. Bent the right brake lever, too.I think they are worth it.
The MSF course taught us how to pick a bike back up, and it was second nature. Bad day.
