Default t-bags saddle roll

For anyone looking to buy some sort of luggage , i recently purchased a t-bags saddle roll and have used it a couple of times and i am very pleased with the quality , fit and the way it secures to my sissy bar. before that i had purchased some leather luggage online and knew immediatly when i opened the box , it was not what i wanted. i wanted something that maintained its shape no matter how much was in it and something i could use as a gym bag also , the saddle roll works out perfect

Even though my Softail has 'quick disconnect' hard saddlebags, for the most part I just use a leather 'roll bag' for most day trips and normal running around.

Myself and a lot of other folks I know have been getting them from a guy on EBay, as he was selling them for much less than many other rigid leather bags out there...

They are rigid PVC that is lined inside, and has a treated leather covering with a heavy duty zipper on one end for easy access. They are 16" wide, 10" across, with plenty or room for a full leather jacket, 1/2 helmet if you wear them, or just about anything else you want to put inside. They also have 2 pair of heavy duty Tite-Lock scraps, and extra D-Rings in case you want to attach other stuff to them. With the quick disconnect Tite-Lock scraps they can be removed or placed on the bike in seconds without needing to be readjusted. They also have a tote handle so you can carry them around like a 'gym bag'.

One of the main reasons why I like the rigid bags like this is because mine is adjusted so it serves as a very comfortable back, lumbar support. Works and feels great.

They are very heavy duty and excellent quality, and I don't see how the guy is making all that much on each one, as they are (or were) being sold for $38 plus shipping.

Here is one mounted on my FatBoy;

Any possibility you have a link to this guy? I'd be interested for the SO's Deuce

Here is a link to one of his latest 'auctions' for the bag...

It also gives more detail information (and pictures) of the rigid leather roll bag.

I don't see any 'current auction' for the bags, so you might contact the seller and see if he still has them, but just doesn't have any current auctions going.

((BTW, I don't know this guy and I'm not associated with him in any way. But he does have an excellent product at a great price.))

Tom
BikersFriend makes some good bags, and I know a few people that are currently using them.

Only problem I see with their product is the cost for the various size bags.

The BikersFriend bags, and the one mentioned in the above Ebay link are very much alike with a rigid inner shell, etc....

While the BikersFriend bags do have a couple of extra 'outer pockets' it's hard to justify the price difference between the 2 products.

BikersFriend charges about $210 for their medium sized bag, while the one I have (almost identical size) is $38....

That's a major difference in price for 2 products that are very much alike.
