Default Black Forward Controls on 1200R

I had these installed over the weekend. Wasn't sure it's what I wanted because I like the mids. However, I have a short inseam and kept banging my shins on the mids because I can't extend my legs out far enough when backing the bike or duck walking. They feel pretty good and with the Sundowner on, I can still take some of the presure off my tailbone. I still need to buy some nice pegs (maybe Santa will get me a set). I had some Mapams on my Metric cruiser, and these bring back that feel. I think they look pretty good with the black of the Roadster.

I just put them on my N a couple weeks ago. I like them as well. only I got the pegs right away, so i'm hoping Santa is bringing something else , like a chopper kit!

you can kinda see them in this pic.

They look great! I think forwards are just about completely necessary on a Sporty, but that's me.

Andy, Mark g,
Are your forward controls HD or aftermarket?

But either way both of ya’lls look good.[sm=smiley20.gif]

Mine are HD. They aren't the best looking on the market, but are probably the lowest in price. They are also a little more roomy than most after market forwards. You can see in the pic's that they stick out pretty good so your legs aren't right up against the burny parts I've only had them a couple of days, so I'm still trying to put my feet where the mid's were..

Hi, I have a 02 1200C and I am looking for someone in Fla who might be interested in swapping the Forward controls for mid controls. I bought a glide and gave my wife the sporty and she has trouble reaching the pegs.

They look great, not my thing as I prefer mids but they do match the bike perfectly.

I'm with ya on that, mids just seem so much more stable. But Dayum, my shins just couldn't take one more knock[:@]

I'm going to hang on to mine, or I would try and work something out with you. Would be interesting to know if the '07would swap out with an '02.
