That's weird. The HD hard bags look bigger to me. Maybe it’s just me.
They might look a little bigger on the outside, but inside there are indentations on the bike side to accomodate the shocks. This protrudes into the space a little, so you don't have a flat surface on the bike side of the bags.

I can't imagine why they wouldn't work with a detachable as well. You will be simply amazed at how much room they have. I will say that National Cycleis speedy about shipping too.

Those look nice on your black and white bike!
Thanks outdoorgirl!

About the shipping, there great and they didn't charge my card till I recieved them!
Also there post shocks, so they make the bike look longer.

Ihave another question. How do the brackets for the hard bags mount? Do they sit on top of the Harley turn signal rails or does the railhave to be removed mounting the new bracket to the fender? Below is the bracket I bought.

They sit on the outside of the rail. Real easy, hardest part is holding the nuts inside the fender well.Use some lock tight, I have had 1 bolt come lose...

Want to see some pic's when you get them on!

Those bikes look nice! I'm hoping they go well with the Corbin Fairing.

I would like to get this someday. Any of you tried it or found something that works just as good but cheapr?

Ah, when then you better just get the Corbin bags. Those are bitchen, but $1,700? I'm not sure they are that bitchen.
