First off Congrat's,I bought 1 on eBay also and it was nice drove 1600+ miles to get it and ended up buying a 2nd while I was in Iowa & it was blizzarding out there and when I got back I got look at it for a couple months[:'(]I don't like snow anymore

2 weeks ago I bought a 07 Sportster on E Bay.There are buys on E Bay.

YOU GOTTA READ THIS!!!! My trip to get the bike ended VERY quickly.
It is cold and rainy and looks to stay that way for a while, so I decided to rent an enclosed U-Haul this afternoon and drive up to Toledo to get the bike this evening (and bring it home in the morning).
I rented the U-haul...hooked up to my Dodge Durango...pulled out of the lot onto the curvy, 2 lane road and went about 200 yards...
...until a lady in the opposite lane (going WAYYYY too fast on the wet, curvy road) began to fishtail, swerve, counterswerve, and serve yet again - HEAD ON INTO ME!!! I just got back from the hospital. I came out very well - my right knee must have hit the dash and is swolen like a grapefruit. Otherwise, I'm o.k. The lady in the other car (little Dodge Neon) was unconsious after the accident. She came to in a bit and they took her in the ambulance to UK hospital in Lexington. The 2 cars are totalled. I was going about 40. She was probably doing about 60 - so 100 mph closure with a head on collision. My vehicle kept moving forward after the impact (slowly) and rolled into the ditch. Hers was slammed backwards about 20-30 yards from the collision. Mass wins. I don't know why she was driving like that - but I hope she is alright.
So I STILL don't have my bike - and now my car is totalled. I don't know how I'm going to get the bike now. I have a friend that offered to help me go get it - but I was still kind of in a daze when I talked to him and I'm not sure he realized how far away the bike is. I'm sure I'll figure something out. I hope I don't get clobbered too badly on the insurance.
For now I'm still just looking at pictures of my Sportster.
