Default Bottom Belt Guard/Deflection Gauge

Can you ride with this piece taken off, with short shots on this piece sticks out like a sore thumb and looks like crap.

On my bike the top belt guard looks nice, gloss black and made of metal, the bottom is cheap looking and plastic

Keep in mind it is there to keep rocks out. If you break a belt after removing it you may want to put it back on.

I took both of mine off and have gone 8000km with no problems, it looks much better with both belt guards off. My sig pic is old but there are some in my gallery without the guards.
By the way the story of the guy who rode from New York to the arctic circle & back that was on here a while ago had no belt guards either and he was on a lot of gravel.

That does look a lot cleaner, what about riding two-up, any problems?
