If you know you are going to be down for more than a month then drain your tank.
Or you can just put Sta-Bil in

Been using it for 20 some years.......

Sta-Bil = Good Stuff
SeaFoam = Better Stuff

Cannot go wrong w/ either one.

I just used seafoam on my car. Its amazing stuff. My gas gauge apparantly was way innacurate. I always had my light come on way early. This morning I had 1/8 a tank of gas left. I did a seafoam treatment through a vacuum hose and when I started her this afternoon, I had 1/2 tank. My gauge is much more accurate now. My car also runs like brand new with 120,000 miles on it and very old oil in her. Going to add seafoam to the crankcase in a few days and then change the oil. Seafoam says it's a good fuel stabilizer as well. I would use it for anything it says!

I've been pouring Sta-bil in my Fuel Injected Jeep over the last year or so. I haven't drove it enough tobuy fresh gas since I bought my bike.

I also use it every winter for my John Deere.

Sea-foam also appears to work pretty darn good. I started said Jeep a couple of days ago, and it had developed a miss. I got some Sea-foam, tossed it in the back seat, and the miss immediated stopped. Damn good stuff!! LOL

That's all you had to do? If I'd discovered Sea Foam sooner I might still be married.

Use it on my fuel injected '04. I've taken to if I take the bike out in winter to refill and if i put in a gallon to refill, put another 1/2 ounce of stabil in.

I had left the bike earlier this year with a 1/2 tank and no stabil for about 6 weeks pre-winter and it took three hits to start. Since I've been religious about the fuel and stabil, starts right up.
