Here you go. I am running Short shots also, don't know what Db they are putting out. As with anything if you are an indiot then you will get pulled over. Since I have installed mine I have been beside several LEOs and they don't even look over at me, of course I am careful and not blipping the throttle either...

I just installed the short shots on my Nightster, went with chrome shields. The first thing I did when installing them was to disconnect the battery to erase the computers memory. This way it could reprogram itself with the new pipes.
I also decided to install a set of torque cones to help with backpressure and helping the exhaust gases exit the pipes.
I have not had HD do the stage 1 download because I still have the stock aircleaner.
That being said, the engine has not backfired yet
