Default 07 1200C - Misaligned Tank & Speedometer

Oct 06 - Purchased a 2007 1200C. Got home and noticed that while sitting on the bike the center of the gas cap didn't line up with the center of the speedometer. It was off to the left about a 1/4". Noticed that the trim that goes down the center of the tank was put on over to the right about a 1/4" to make you think it was in line. Went back to the dealer about a week later and looked at 3 different 1200C's and they all lined up. Took to the service dept and told them I wasn't happy. I paid 10,000 for a crooked bike, they said to leave it and they would look at it. Picked it up the next day and they said they replaced the center tank trim which now made it even more noticeable. I complained again and the service manager said to bring it back when I could leave it for a week for them to do some measuring on the frame. Took it back about 2 weeks later and left it. They called and said they couldn't find anything wrong and that it was within harley specs. I said ok and took my bike. A week later I still wasn't satisfied with his answer and I called HD customer service. They were very nice and called the service manager at the dealer to have them setup up for the HD district manager to look at it. Left it again for another week and when I picked it up it was now inline, speedometer, center emblem on gas cap and tank trim, all perfectly straight. I was happy now. Couple of weeks later I for some reason was decelerating from about 50mph and for some reason let go of the handle bars and noticed the handle bars shaking back and forth. Thought maybe my wheel was out of balance and would have it looked at on my next service. After next service I complained about the shake and when I picked up the bike they said the tire was low on air. On the way home of course it still did it. I just figured I would live with it until my 5000 mile service. Nov 07 - At my 5000 mile serivce I went to another dealer and told him to also look at my handle bar shake. No problem they said. When I picked up the bike he said they found the front end to be loose and tightend it up. Riding home sure enough no more shaking but when I looked down at the speedometer and gas cap it is now over to the left again. That first dealer, to make me happy and shut me up, loosened something in the front end to line up the tank and speedometer. What now? Is my frame bent? Does anyone else have the same problem with the speedometer and gas cap not being in line? Should I call HD Customer Service again?

Mine was off too... I wrench my own, so I checked rear wheel alignment... it was off. Now my bike tracks straight and the belt rides straight, before the belt squeeked while I rode. Check the rear wheel alignment.
