I hate to change the subject, but Mark how do you like the Air Cleaner? I'm thinking about getting it over the stage 1 cleaner...
The heavy breather is great! I wouldn't buy another regular stage1 A/C from Harley. it is of poor design and cost me a blown motor, when one of the screws came loose holding it and sucked in the front cylinder. The heavy breater has the same screws, but a plate go's over them so they can't back out.

The heavy breather also went on very easily.

First of all.. Great choice on the Harley racing colors... the fastest .... of course [8D] I removed the fork and fender reflectors right away.... Like you, I also added forward controls... I went with Pipe Dreamz/Wet Dreamz exhaust with a custom black ceramic heat shield (very happy with the exhaust).... I also added a D&M Customs breather, SERT, & lots of Dyno time... Other little things:FS skull gas cap, skull derby & timer covers, skull brake caliper covers, skull pegs, skull linkage, skull license plate bolts, black fender and breather hole spikes..... My advice is to do some sort of Stage 1 kit (big improvement) and then just Make it Your Own.... And have fun doing it.... Congrats brother!!!

Sorry, I can't comment on the ride with the miniapes, the bike in the picture is not mine. Recently there was a post on the miniapes, but I can't remember the poster's name.

Does anyone know if the engine guards will still fit with the forward controls.I think they would make this bike look great trying not to have to mess with the ecm did that on father in laws bike nothing but headaches.
