I got a good quality 1/4 inch T27 at Lowes. It was a bit pricey for just one torx bit (around $7) but that thing holds up very good.
Anti seize compound is great for future removal of the derby cover. Trust me, I've removed mine several times over the last couple of months.

agreed, antisieze is friend indeed....
personnally, i try to change every one of them d&#n torx out to allen heads. torx strip to easy......[:@]

It works great for all the basic stuff.
