Cellphone Earpieces

RE: Cellphone Earpieces
Sorry, didn't mean to judge and I apologise for swearing but I still think it's a poor idea to add distractions. We are all adults and no one wants anyone telling them what to do but I would hope my friends that have some experience would tell me if they saw me doing something unsafe. You will obviously do whatever you want anyway, as will we all, I just don't see the need to always be multitasking. Sometimes a ride is just a ride.

This forum has turned into a bunch of grumpy old men. Too many times I have seen people jump all over someone that has asked for simple advice. Everybody has their reasons for doing what they do.
READ the request and offer recommendations that pertain to the question. There was no mention of whether to or not use the blackberry. Get off of your soapbox and offer sound, friendly advice. If you want to comment on whether it is a good idea to listen to music or talk while riding, start your own thread.
If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
Flame me as much as you want. That just goes to prove my point.
If we cannot be kind and helpful to each other, who will

have you taken a look at the starcom system, It is an amazing system Ive had it for a year now and it does everything your wanting plus more. For bike to bike its the best I have tried. On my sons zzr600 with a shortie helmet (I don't do ful face) and at 240km/h with a boom mike, everyone in the group could clearly hear me.

I second Starcom. I'd have been first but I was trying to find the words to comment on some of the replies you've received. I gave up.
Starcom is a little pricey compared with some alternatives but when you start talking about motorcycle comms and integrating music, phone, communications, etc, you quickly find you get what you pay for. Chatterbox is less expensive but many report they can't hear much over 45-50 mph.

Vibration on my belt.
You all have a point here. But - I am adult enough. All I asked was an earplug model, not how to live my life.

No phone call is that important where they can't wait till you reach a scheduled stop.
Hell, part of the reason for owning abike is to get away from it all, not to bring it with you.

i say get the one thats most comfortable and put a thin beanie or something over to keep wind noise out.
works for me.
most of the time though i just throw the phone in my pocket and if it rings the ringtone is loud enough to hear and i can pull over and answer it.
