Did not realize they made a real chrome one for it. HHMMMM? Maybe I will rethink the tank trim thingy. I just did not like the stock trim cause it would not shine like chrome.

J&P CYCLES has them for around $150, but you can get it at the H.D. dealer for about $123, still a lot of $, 'but' man, it looks cool. Way better then stock.
My brother flipped out when he seen it....

May or may not be something your looking for, but I've been considering the Billet Cross gas cap for my Low (no tank trim and none desired, thank you). I searched using 2006 1200 Custom as the bike. The skull looks kinda cool, but not for me. I've seen the "six shooter" in most of the Harley shops I've looked at them.

This self locking gas cap "maintains the same features as the Original Equipment fuel cap", so I'd check to see if it unscrews just like your current one. If so,you won't solve your problemby getting it.

My 2006c does same . I was thinking of putting on a peanut tank from a 2006 883L but do'nt know if it will clear spedo on 1200c as spedo hangs lower to tank. The spedo on 883L is set higher.
