OK Sportster fans, here's an unusual request and terrific opportunity for the right Sportster fan.

We at American Iron Magazine (yes, we do love Sportys too) are looking for someone to help research and write a book about Sportsters.

What we have in mind will take a lot of research.The right person needs tobewell organized,and good atdetail work, plusyou needthe ability and time to do a lot of research.

In response to the very few replies we got to this post - No, you do not have to be an experienced writer or world class expert on Sportsters.

BUT you do need to have a real passion for Sportsters and willingness to do a lot of research (some possibly with Harley-Davidson archives).

1. Yes, American Iron Magazine is considering publishing a historic/reference book about Harley Sportsters.
2. Yes, we are looking for Sportster enthusiasts to help put together the information.
3. Yes, we have copy editors on staff to smooth out any rough edges in the writing.
4. Yes, we have a photographer on staff and are looking for great photos of stock Sportsters over the years.

You should have a female write the book since Skirtsters are for girls.
