RE: nightster with engine guard
Trust me.......any Nightster worth it's salt would buck you off if you stuck an engine guard on it.
You got a Nightster Man....Therefore you are bullit proof and so is the bike.
.....It's ok to have torn jeans and skinned kness when you are riding a Nightster....It is supposed to look tuffer than you, and you are supposed to look like you can take it.

They will work with forward controls. The nice thing about crash bars (engine guards) is they come off as easy as they go on. If someone is fairly new to riding and needs them during that period of time they want to build up their confidence, go for it. Once you are more capable you can always take them off. In the event you lay the bike over, the damage will be alot less and you'll be glad they're on there.

Done and Done............I am gladI only wasted a minute thinking about it. The main background on the story is that a guy at the local watering hole was telling me he saw the black nightster with an engine guard and said it was the coolest thing he had ever seen.NowI arguedwith him forwhile but figured, why not throw out a post on the forumsee for myself.....wasn't expecting much, but was still wanting to see someones ruined Nightster
