We're packed away for the winter :-(
Damn, but I had to pack her away... getting too cold up here in the frosty north land. But, for a first year rider, I am pleased to say that I put on exactly 8,000 miles since May 14th. Not too bad for a newbie!
So, those of you who get to keep on riding, think of your poor frozen bro's up north and appreciate your freedom!

P.S. - this sucks! April 1st is a LONG way's away!

RE: We're packed away for the winter :-(
I does occasionally get cold here in North Texas, sometimes even gets into the teens, but the roads generally stay clear. If a rider can stand below 45 degrees, then the longest time without riding is about a one week stretch....maybe two or three times per "winter". That would suck not ridingfrom now until April, though. But you did the right thing. Snow, ice, and bitter cold are not the ideal conditions to be riding in.

It is fine to run it in the cold. You should have some good cold gear for yourself. We generally put em down for snow and ice conditions. "How cold is toocold" is for you to decide.
