RE: We're packed away for the winter :-(
I live in No. IL. and had my bike since Sept. 05- I have not winterized.... ever...lol!
I'm that crazy chick you see out riding when it's like 20ΒΊ.
The only thing that stops me is ice on the roads and those stupid salt trucks.
I live to ride, baby!

Yea here in central Minnesota the season seems so short, I mean when the high temp can be below zero for several days, add the fact they dump thousands of tons of salt and sand on the roads over the winteryou can pretty much hang it up til late march or early april and hopeyou get some rain to wash the crap off the roads. I love the spring, summer, and fall here but these winters are brutal.

Well boys up north, I must say, I was planning on putting the new forks and bringing the calipers to the plating shop while the bike was down during the winter, but here in central CA, I will need to wrench fast as that will set in (fog and rain, not snow) only maybe Dec, and Jan, possibly Feb. However, even then I can sneak a mid afternooner a couple times. Keep your spirits up on the forum. You can split your time polishing the bike and polishing the helmet. Thanks for all your enthusiam, and hang in there.
