I live in the NE also and will ride unless there is snow on the road, I work at night and drive in the dark to and from work and it is friggin cold, but I like it.I have only been ridding three years and have not storged my bike for the winter yet. Am I crazy? YES.

Just back from a ride... the face shroud was a good idea (first time I've worn one).... Damn thing kept fogging up my goggles though (re-directing the air from my nose).... Had to pull it down at the stops.... But damn .... this Rat runs strong in the cold.... AMERICAN MUSCLE BABY!!!!!

Put mine away due to the short days and me not having the gear for cold weather riding yet. My job makes it so I can't ride if I need to take any kind of equipment with me anywhere, and I prefer not to ride if I am not comfortable. Legs shaking from the cold makes me uncomfortable. When I'm uncomfortable, I'm distracted, being distracted on the bike is not a good thing. Hopefully by the time the snow melts this season, I'll have the cold weather gear and be able to extend my riding season out by a few more months.
