I know what you mean. I could use another 2" or so. I tend to rest my leg slightly higher than my ankles on my foot rests when I'm doing highway riding. It's a bit dangerous but if feels much better . .
They make extended controls in I believe 2 or 3 inches, but they are very pricey. I had the same problem but just went with crash bar pegs to stretch out a bit. Good luck.
We bought a Nightster for the wife. I seem to ride it more to get the mileage on it. It has forward controls but my legs are still bent at 90 degrees (btw: I have a Train with the 3" extensions and would still like more reach). About the only way I konw to get more "stretch" out of the Nightster is to change the seat to something with less padding on the back. Good luck and let me know what you come up with.
