Default Forward controls too short

Is there any way to get even more stretch than forward controls on a Sportster? or are forward controls as much as can be had?

I know what you mean. I could use another 2" or so. I tend to rest my leg slightly higher than my ankles on my foot rests when I'm doing highway riding. It's a bit dangerous but if feels much better . .

They make extended controls in I believe 2 or 3 inches, but they are very pricey. Here is a link though, a member fabricated a 5 inch extension and enclosed all the plans. https://www.hdforums.com/m_1856072/tm.htm. I had the same problem but just went with crash bar pegs to stretch out a bit. Good luck.

Funny thing is, they used to come with longer forward controls but moved them back some based on owner feedback re: ergonomics!

I know Arlen Ness makes a set of 3in forward control extenders. My buddy's got them on his night train.

We bought a Nightster for the wife. I seem to ride it more to get the mileage on it. It has forward controls but my legs are still bent at 90 degrees (btw: I have a Train with the 3" extensions and would still like more reach). About the only way I konw to get more "stretch" out of the Nightster is to change the seat to something with less padding on the back. Good luck and let me know what you come up with.
