From what I've read, seems as though copper based plugs perform best

I use E3-36's in my bikes....

E3 is the brand and 36 is the number.

Yep same plugs in my 2002 Fatboy for 12000 miles. I call bs on the ion sensor crap from the MoCo. No codes no problems. Quick starts and runs great. Just be sure to use anti-seize and bugger the threads on the top cap so it stays tight and won't loosen up inside the plug wire cap.

If Harley had its way we all would be running their oil and buying all their bling like coffee cups and t-shirts and such. JMO

Nkg iridium seem to run pretty nice for me.

bike starts easier in winter since I recently changed over to iridium plugs.

The exterior of my plugs, which I think are the original ones (bought the bike earlier this year... 3rd owner... 3250mi), are rusted pretty bad, I'm hoping they come off without too much trouble. I can't imagine keeping them on there for 10k miles. Do plugs normally get pretty rusty? Almost as rusty as the washer at the base of the front of the frame in the triple tree. I'll be picking up some new ones for next spring.

remove them only on a cold motor. Use wd40

I picked up a couple of NGK DCPR7E from RockAuto.com for $7.19 delivered. Couldn't have driven somewhere to buy them for cheaper.
