Fuel on.Choke out.Key to on.Two twists of the throttle.Hit the starter button and it fires right up.I also keep my batteryplugged into the tender most of the time.

[/align][align=left][/align][align=left]This worked for me on my '05 883C. Also I had the throttle off (closed) while actually starting the bike, or else it would flood. Maybe that is your problem.[/align][align=left][/align][align=left]Ron[/align]

The only time I had any difficulty with starting my bike was one morning after the bike had sit outside all night at a hotel. Based on the temps when I arrived at the hotel, and the heavy frost that was all over my bike that morning, I'd guess the temps to be around 20 degrees.

Still choke out, a couple of twists on the throttle, and the bike started in about 5 seconds. Took a while for it to warm up, but it started fairly quickly.

On an 05 bike, it's quite possible that it's time for a new battery. Especially if the bike sits for any period of time without a battery tender.
