Default Anyone take there baffles out of straight pipes?

Hey i have a 1200c 04 with v&H straight shots. Its loud and people like the sound, but im still thinking about something a little louder. Is taking them in and out easy to do? And in doing so will i need to re-jet? And will it make it sound like a drag pipe or kinda keep the v&H sound?

Should only be held in with 1 screw. I have the short shot, I do have to remove the shields .

Jeez dude. You gotta be deaf.

I personally replaced the stock V&H straightshotbaffles (if you can call them that!) with V&H quiet baffles. They are still very, very L O U D.

There is a smallscrew at the bottom rear of the pipes retaining the baffle. Easy to pop out. You may need toremove the heatshield to access the screw. I changed by baffles before the exhaust was fitted by the dealership. You'll need a hex key (aka. allen key) to unscrew.

When I bought mine it didn't have baffles in at all. I think I'm deaf now. I feel bad about even starting it before noon as there is no doubt it wakes everyone in the neighborhood up. HD told me I was loosing some low end torque.

First mod I'm making to the bike is hooker headers Troublemakers - slashcuts
