How long do these bulbs last, just got a email from sylvania and she claims they onlly last up to a year. I had wrote to sylvania asking if h4st and 9003st are the same and they were, but she said she just wanted to make sure I understood that the high perpormance bulbs only lasted about a year, so I asked if the h4st lasted longer, shes said they are the same bulb. Sooooo, how long have they lasted the hd forum readers?????????

 

Nobody in the forum can tell you how long a light bulb will last, she has answered your question. Some ppl claim a headlight bulb lasts 3 yrs and some 6 months, know what I mean?

 

NO I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN, I didnt ask how long WILL they last, I asked how long HAVE they lasted the users. Just asking in sorta of a poll

 

I have Silverstar 9003st for about 7 months, still good. I hope it is going to last for another year.
P.S. Riding on rough road will definitely shorten the life of a bulb.

I've had 3 Silverstars. The first 2lasted 3 months, then blew the high beam element. The 3rd and last one I'll buy is 1 month old. These bulbs are NOT vibration rated.
