Hells Angels Prefere Sportsters...

Many 'Traditional MC' members (what many would call 1%er's) own bikes other than their Harley's. Like anyone else some like to mess around on dirt bikes, dual sport bikes, and other types of metric and/or European bikes.
I'm not going to name the MC, but it is one included in the discussion, and their Bylaws state in part;
'Members must own at least 1 Harley Davidson (or facsimile) of at least 750cc'.
Some MC's set the minimum engine size at 900cc, others at 1000cc. Some say you must own a Harley, others say a Harley or facsimile. Some don't even require you to own a Harley. As you can see, it varies...
I would say that the Dyna Series is probably the most popular, although many guys also own Softails such as the Standard. But you will see a variety of everything, from the smallest Sportsters to the largest Baggers.

Many of the higher ranking officers in various clubs (usually riding in the front of formations) have been members for years, are getting up there in age, and prefer the comfort of a touring model on long multi-day runs.
But you have to realize that many guys own more than one Harley, and can choose which bike to ride depending on the situation.
I own 6 bikes myself, ranging from a modified 1200C Sportster, a rigid frame Panhead Chopper, a couple of Dyna's, a Softail, a Road King, etc.....
I prefer to either ride a Wide Glide or FatBoy, but if I was going to go on a week long high speed interstate run no doubt my Road King would provide the most comfort......

One thing I found interesting in the video was no baggers. Do the Hells Angels or other MC "gangs", 1 percenters or whatever they are called not primarily ride baggers? I did some reasearch once on the Mongols and even they didn'tsee manybaggers. Just thought I would make mention. Not bashing baggers, I actuallywant one to compliment my Sportster
He didn't tarry. Ate in hurry and left. $5.00 tip. I was just interested is the reason I remember. That was in South Pittsburg Tn. Just outside Chattanooga.

why does it matter what 1% ride? i would seriously dought that there are any in this forum, just based upon their not needing advice or caring to share advice. i myself, **my opinoin** could care less about 1%ers. to each his own but just bc your in a club or ride 20,000 miles a year or own so and so bike dosent mean you get more respect. you gotta give respect to earn respect, to me thats a true 1%er.
