Although I don't like the Rocker, the hidden passenger seat does impress me, very cool design.

I like the Rocker, but as a solo mount only. The rear seat is just to out there looking. I think they should make a passenger seat combothat looks alittle more substantial.....something like the Indians had.

Can see several things that need to be changed just from that one set of pics...

But it looks like the backbone goes too flat... what ya' do with that... seats too high on the frame... but you drop the seat and it looks like it would be a long stretch to the bars....

Ugley azz pipes...

Oil tank would have to be redone...

Kinda like three people started building the damn thing at different ends of the plant and then tried to put it together...

It just don't flow...

IMHO...

I like it, but it serves the same purpose as the sportie ie: bar hopper/short trips for double the price.

ORIGINAL: Seth

crap man,...why a big flop???? I thought it'd be a fun bar-hopper,......something you could customize the crap out of?
IMO Harley missed the boat when it comes to getting into the "factory chopper" game...I have discussed this with some of the design people at the HD motor company who just happen to be personal friends of mine. Some of em agree.
Apparently HD has been lookin into the chopper game for quite some time. They have (andI have witnessed this personally) over a half dozen chopper prototype bikes that have been passed over. They also have some of the other manufacturers choppers such as abig dog and anironhorse there as well. While the Rocker C might be appealing to some, The $19000 base price doesn't look so good when you can buy an Ironhorse for a similar price (or a bit more depending on the model and options) that comes with a 111" -124" S&S screamer of a motor, and little needs changing.
I think if Harley would have gotten on the bandwagon when the latest chopper "boom" was still in its fetal stages the Rocker C would have been a viable competitor.

Hard to get a good idea of how a bike actually looks from just a picture.

That's why I'm interested in watching the show, since you will be able to get a 360 degree view of the bike, see how it looksfrom different angleswith a rider on it, etc..

I'm going to hold my opinion until I see the Rocker in action.

Yup, the Rocker just looks too much like a "pretender" of some description to me, whatever that means. But, what do I know? I, too, like to see reviews of ALL bikes, so while it beats watching "Dancing with the Stars", it is yet to be seen if it's worth more than a Munsters rerun.

It'll probably turn out to have the value of an XLCR or first-year WideGlide over time.

** POSSIBLE FALSE ALARM **

You might want to check out the below link from time to time, as there seems to be some 'confusion' as to when show is scheduled to be on the Speed Channel...

I'd really like ta see one in person,.....and sit on it and check it out,....then I'd have a better idea of balance,...scale,....overall feel. Hard to make a judgement call just from the pics I've seen,.......but it seems to have potential,.......but should be at the lower end on the price scale.

I think the Rocker looks pretty neat. I'm not really into choppers or the whole "custom" thing, but I still think it looks nice.
