RE: When does the insanity end?
Personally... I wouldn't spend a dime on these things....[:'(]
OK... so I lied...[8D]
What I meant to say... was anymore on these things....
Well except for some chrome billet wheels, rotors and pulleys...
And maybe some type of custom sissy bar...
Forgot about a little higher set of apes...
Some chrome calipers...
But that's it... I think... maybe???

Were in Indiana are you? If anywhere close you might want to check out Gutteridge in Danville Illinois. They have an excellent service department for repair and custom and engine work. And alot of the parts aren't on display, but if you ask they may have them in the back. The showroom is kinda small, but they have two buildings and a large storeroom. And no, I don't work for or have a personal interest in the success of this dealership. But with all the negative dealership talk on this site, if I find a good one I like to get the word out.

RE: When does the insanity end?
I hear ya my friend. It's been an additcion for me too. I've done it all, wheels, chrome, suspension, brakes, intake and carb mods, you name it. All in all, I probably dropped well over6 or maybeeven7grand into the thing. It was all worth it however, because its my hobby and I do all the work myself, so it's a stress reliever. And the thing is, I plan on keeping this bike for a long time so no one is going to steal it from me on a trade in or anything like that. I will get another bike sometime to add to my stable, but this one is my pride and joy
PS. Considering a custom paint job but I don't really want to ruin the factory finish that I have. Something about it I like. Wouldn't mind getting a second set of tins to have painted but we are talking more major bucks....grrrrr.
