IMO- it is better to either have constant/consistant heated storage, or no heat at all. The problem with garages and semi-heated areas is the condensate. Also, I would be very hesitant to put a cover on her in a garage with cars in and out. I believe you would get a little "greenhouse" effect causing and traping more moisture. I believe I would not cover, with the exception of wd-40 on the steel items to help retard moisture.
I guess I am lucky. I can park the scoot over my office in a constant heated area. Also allowing me to pull 'er down with a forktruck and take a spin when snow is gone.(luckily got to ride every month past winter). Just gotta watch them corners with tons of sand, salt, and gravel[:@]
I HATE TO EVEN THINK THE TIME IS COMING!!!!!![:'(]

All this talk about moisture in the air, this, that, etc....
I think I'm going to have to start parking my bikes, cars, and trucks in my living room whenever it's damp or cold outside.

I sure glad that I live in northern California where the winters are never so bad that you can't ride on a regular bases.

Spent 9 'winters' living in Fairbanks, AK, and 1 in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory.
Is that close enough?
