Hi all.Ive got a broblem with my rear break light staying on.It goes off sometimes but the majority of the time stays on.Does any one have any idea or tips to help?

I had the same problem. In my case - 2005 sportster - my front brake began to feel a little sluggish when I noticed the light problem. After a while the front brake began operating very badly and I began noticing the lever would not fully return to its position after use. Found out there was a recall on that year for the front brake master cylindar. Dealer fixed and all is well.

 

Make sure your front brake lever is returning fully,I gota big bug stuckin there that wouldn't let it fully return, it doesn't take much to keep the light on and I spent about twenty minutes scratching my head before I figured that one out.
Failing that make sure your rear brake is also fully returning, I havn't had a problem there but you never know.

 

I've also heard that the pressure switch for the front brake is really sensitive. May need to check the adjustment of the lever.
