I agree, that if you want a 'trike' go with a complete converted bike built by someone that knows what they are doing, as you want a product that functions perfectly and is completely safe.

Here is a '77 Sportster trike. Guy I know owns acompanyjust down the road that builds complete "ground up" trikes and choppers.

saw this set up on a dyna at a bike run last month. was thinking ,,,what kind of idiot would buy this and ruin the bike with it....man i felt so bad, this old lady probly near 70 hopped on the bike and took off, she was an avid rider then suffered a stroke and could no longer balance the bike. instead of selling the bike her husband bought the kit and installed it on the bike. hers had bigger wheels, more or less a training wheel set for the bike. i felt like a real jerk for even question it. but i never knew the thing was available. brian

I think they're extremly unsafe. It wouldn't take much to lift the drive wheel off the road. Then what?

My mother once said, "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all"
OK, I won't.

I don't have a use for it personally but if it gets more people out riding who otherwise could not, I support it.

Looks like another variation on the Voyager. I can't see it being any less difficult to handle than any other trike setup. For someone who needs the extra balance or control it has its use. Of course it won't handle as well as its two-wheeled cousin. You surely won't be carving it up in the twisties. But you can't do that any safer or faster on a trike or even a two-wheeler with a sidecar attached. It's purpose built and should/likely is being ridden as such.

I have nothing against trikes, in fact I think some of them a pretty cool, but this one with all the "appendage" frame work compared to a real trike like OFG posted are like night and day different.
